Look Younger with a Denver Thread Lift
In the past, the only option that many people had to aging was to simply try to age gracefully. Today, many people are choosing to fight Mother Nature by having face lifts performed to reduce the signs of aging that make people look older. There are many different types of face lifts that a person can choose from when deciding on what type of surgery will be the best option. One new face lift procedure that is growing very quickly in popularity is called a Denver thread lift. The tread lift is not nearly as invasive as a full face lift; however, it is more invasive than other face lift procedures, like laser resurfacing.
A Denver thread lift may not be the answer for all patients because it will not last as long as a regular face lifts. Normally, a thread face lift will keep the signs of aging from appearing for three to five years.
A Denver thread lift is very different from a regular face lift in the way that it is performed. During a Denver thread lift, a pin sized hole is placed is placed in different parts of the face where the patient desires a change. This can be in the cheeks, forehead, or other parts of the face.
A small thread is then tied to the small holes and the tread is then carefully worked under the skin where it will be pulled toward the forehead. This will lift the skin and smooth out all of the wrinkles that are on a person's face. Many people are able to have a Denver thread lift on a Friday and return to work on Monday.
